Crash claims life of Proston man

POLICE Forensic Crash Unit are investigating a crash that claimed the life of a 50-year-old Proston man.

The crash occurred near Cloyna around 9.50am this morning.

Initial investigations indicate a prime mover towing a fully loaded trailer collided with a tree while travelling south along the Murgon-Gayndah Rd. 

The man was transported to the Nambour General Hospital for treatment but died of his injuries late this afternoon.
