Mobile outages affecting 2G and 3G services

Optus advises customers that service was restored about 11.30am.

MOBILE phone users in and around Kingaroy and Nanango are having trouble making phone calls and using the internet because there is a fault with an Optus tower.

A spokeswoman for Optus said technicians were on site assessing the problem and parts were being brought in.

The problem was first reported to Optus about 11pm last night.

It is not yet known when full service will be restored.
