YESTERDAY marked the final day of November and wives, girlfriends and partners rejoiced.

With - often questionable - facial hair grown to raise funds and awareness for men's health issue being removed after a month of cultivation, going in for a smooch no longer involved a mouth full of hair.

After working on their moustaches for the past month teachers at Warwick State High School went under the razor as part of the push to bring prostate cancer and men's mental health into the spotlight.

WSHS teacher Andy King was one of the men to have a shave and he had grown his mo for much longer than a month.

After maintaining his moustache ever since he was able to grow facial hair he was unsure what he'd look like without it.

"My wife and daughter won't recognise me," he said.
