SUNCORP'S Lockyer Valley Business Centre is gearing up to celebrate its first birthday this Friday.

To mark the occasion Lockyer Valley Business Centre's district manager Mark Vayro and agribusiness manager Trent Kammholz will fire up the barbecue to cook up snags at Centenary Park on North St from 4.30-6pm.

Mr Vayro said he was pleased to be supporting local communities, local businesses, producers and families.

"The Lockyer Valley Business Banking Centre was opened to meet the banking needs of local producers and small business owners, with most of our customers within the core Gatton industries of vegetables, dairy and fodder production," Mr Vayro said.

Mr Vayro said a raffle would also be held during the barbecue to help raise money towards supporting bush fire victims in Tasmania.
