Ros Heit to become Division 6 councillor
ROS Heit has an anxious wait to be officially declared the South Burnett Regional Council Division 6 councillor.
Last night Ms Heit won the ballot with just three votes after preferences but must wait for the Electoral commissioner to officially declare her the outright winner.

AFTER a close race to the finish line Ros Heit has been named councillor of Division 6 after a re-count this afternoon.
Ms Heit won the Division 6 by-election by just three votes after preferences.
Closest rival Don Pinwill finished with 775 votes.
Due to the close result Acting Electoral Commissioner Walter van der Merwe instructed the Returning Officer for the District to undertake a recount in the interests of accuracy and fairness after Ms Heit was just two votes ahead.
A RE-COUNT has been ordered in the South Burnett Regional Council Division 6 by-election.
With just two votes separating leaders Ros Heit and Don Pinwill the Electoral Commission Queensland's returning officer must re-count all the votes to ensure the correct result.
At the final count yesterday Ms Heit was in the lead by two votes.
A spokesman for the ECQ said the re-count would take place from 2pm at the Nanango Courthouse.
The result is expected to be delivered between 5pm-6pm today.
