Update

ROS Heit has an anxious wait to be officially declared the South Burnett Regional Council Division 6 councillor.

Last night Ms Heit won the ballot with just three votes after preferences but must wait for the Electoral commissioner to officially declare her the outright winner.

AFTER a close race to the finish line Ros Heit has been named councillor of Division 6 after a re-count this afternoon.

Ms Heit won the Division 6 by-election by just three votes after preferences.
