100 reasons to enjoy the Wondai Parkrun

THIS Saturday morning the quiet little town of Wondai will come alive with all the celebrations and festivities of the 100th Wondai Parkrun.

Parkrun is a free weekly 5km running or walking event organised entirely by volunteers.

There are close to 350 Parkrun locations across Australia.

People of all ages and fitness levels are invited to register online and come along on Saturday morning to keep fit on our picturesque rail trail.

Whether you are a seasoned runner, a mum with a stroller or just starting off on your fitness journey, you will fit right in at this weekly exercise event.

Being the 100th event, there is sure to be plenty of faces for the 5km event and plenty of surprises.

The Wondai Parkrun festivities start this Saturday, December 8, from 7am behind Wondai Hall on the South Burnett Rail Trail.
