12-year-old missing boy found safe and well

UPDATE: A 12-year-old boy reported missing from Marsden on Friday, February 24 was this morning located safe and well in Beaudesert.

EARLIER: A 12-year-old boy has been missing from Marsden since Friday morning, February 24.

Police say he was with friends at a Marsden shopping centre when he went for a walk around 8:30am on Friday. 

He has been seen this weekend in the Beaudesert area.

He is described as Aboriginal, approximately 150cms tall with a slim build, brown eyes and short, cropped brown hair.

The boy was wearing a blue shirt with red writing, blue shorts, white socks, blue nike shoes and a Lakers cap - when he was last seen at Marsden.

Anyone who has any information in relation to his current whereabouts is asked to contact police.
