In a claim made to the Supreme Court of Queensland, Mr Williams is seeking damages of more than $1.4m for personal injury.
Mr Williams, 52, suffered a head injury as well as broken ribs and a severe crush fracture of his vertebrae.
The claim states the driver of a Mazda sedan had been turning right into Denham St, off Denison St, when her car collided with Mr Williams's bike.
According to the claim, the collision was caused by the negligence of the Mazda driver, claiming she had failed to stop or slow down to take evasive action before colliding with the bike, and had been driving without due care and attention.
A Morning Bulletin article reported the crash on the day, stating emergency services rushed to the scene minutes after the crash.
It was reported that both drivers suffered non-life threatening injuries, though the motorbike rider suffered leg injuries.
The court claim states that Mr Williams's future economic loss is around $2000 a week, while he is also seeking money for lost future superannuation, his past economic losses, pain, suffering and out-of-pocket expenses including medical bills.
