Suspected head injury to teenager in crash near Pittsworth

A 19-YEAR-OLD man has suffered serious injuries after a single vehicle accident on the Gore Hwy, near Southbrook, north east of Pittsworth.

Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the man was flown by RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with a suspected head injury.

The accident happened at about 4.15am this morning.

The teenager was airlifted in a serious but stable condition.
