2016 rainfall averages
THE South Burnett started the year with good dose of above-average rain with both January and March well above average.
However, April ended dry and we had our driest May on record.
We then got some good rain in June and July, but the year ended really dry.
December was almost 62mm below the long-term average.
All told, we were only 86.9mm below the yearly average.
This compares to 2015 when the region 178.9mm above the yearly average.
