38 bodies found at crash but so far no black box
AT LEAST 38 bodies were found yesterday at the crash site of a Trigana Air flight in the Indonesian province of Papua, but searchers were yet to locate the aircraft's "black box" flight recorder.
The plane, which was carrying 49 passengers and five crew, all Indonesians, went missing on Sunday evening in the remote, forested region.
Trigana has a poor safety record, having been involved in 20 serious incidents since 1992.
