CareFlight transfers man injured after fall from tree

A MAN who fell as he was pruning palm trees was airlifted from the South Burnett to Toowoomba for treatment.

An RACQ CareFlight spokeswoman said a man in his 70s fell as he was pruning, and was taken to Kingaroy Hospital.

The fall dislocated his hip and caused a suspected broken leg.

A CareFlight crew transferred the man from Kingaroy Hospital to Toowoomba Hospital at about 10pm last night.

He was in a stable condition.
