CRICKET: Mick Rees set Cherbourg up for victory against the Kallindale Warriors with a knock of 97 runs.

Tom Langton contributed 52 runs to the teams score and Barry Fisher Snr added 32 runs.

Chance Olm claimed three wickets for the Warriors and Tavis Hartwig dismissed two batsmen.

The Warriors were chasing 275 runs for the win.

Jeffery Rose scored 58 runs not out for the team and Hartwig added 36 runs to the teams total of 126 runs.

The game was called off due to the weather and Cherbourg was declared the winner on run rate.

Renee Irivine top scored for the Diggers with 32 runs followed by Andrew Roderick with 22.

The Diggers were all out for 106 runs after 28.5 overs.

Kumbia made the required runs in 20 overs and with eight wickets in hand.

Bevan Fawcett top scored for the home side with 33 runs followed by Joeseph Milsom with 30 runs.

Ryan Sommerfield claimed one wicket for 31 runs off eight overs for the Diggers.

In Blackbutt the Timbertowners played hot to the Nanango Scorpions.

The visitors won the toss and elected to bat.

S Scott was the top run scorer for the Scorpions with 42 runs followed by Matthew Springate who contributed 23 to the teams total of 151 runs.

The Timbertowners dismissed the visitors in 32 overs.

Mitchell Olzard claimed three wickets for 24 runs and Zach Ennis and J Lewis claimed two wickets each.

The Timbertowners made the required runs in 23 overs.

J Snow made 50 runs and Ennis followed his effort with the ball with 51 runs.
