Missing teen found after air and land search

UPDATE: A BOY missing near Kingaroy has been found safe and well after an extensive air and land search.

The 13-year-old was found in the Proston township.

Police have thanked the media and the public for their assistance.

3:30PM: AN AIR and land search is currently underway for a 13-year-old boy at Proston Weir.

Six Queensland Police Service officers, 15 SES personnel, and other emergency service officers are searching nearby bushland for the boy who was reported missing at 10.30am.

He was last seen at an educational facility in Proston.

The boy is described as being 170cm tall with a solid build, olive complexion, medium-length dark hair and was wearing a pair of jeans.
