Teen faces court for allegedly biting a police officer

A CABOOLTURE woman who allegedly bit a police officer will face a Brisbane court on January 11.

Jeanie Anne Reid on Monday appeared for a brief mention in the Brisbane Magistrates Court.

The 19-year-old will return to the same court next month for another mention regarding four charges including seriously assaulting and obstructing a police officer.

The charges stem from an incident that allegedly occurred in Fortitude Valley on Friday, September 26.

Ms Reid has been bailed.
