Anzac Day weather forecast

IF YOU'RE heading to a local dawn service this Anzac Day you can expect bit of fog.

WeatherZone Meteorologist Craig McIntosh said Anzac Day morning will be a cold and foggy one.

"From around 4.00am onwards we will see some early morning fog patches,” he said.

"It's going to be a little bit cold though with a minimum morning temperature of around 14 degrees.

"Thankfully this weeks winds should die down by Thursday.”

Mr McIntosh forecast a very low chance of rain for Thursday morning as well.

"However, there is still a chance of a shower around 4.00am on Anzac Day morning.

"As we head into the middle of the day it will all clear up and make for a nice sunny day.”

The maximum temperature for Thursday will be 25.8 degrees.

Mr McIntosh said the day will be mostly sunny with a few clouds and very little wind.

"If the South Burnett gets any rain this week it will be on Wednesday morning,” he said.

"Only light showers though, the thunderstorms are well west this week. No need to worry about the possibility of storms.

"Then it will be a fairly dry week. There's an even lower chance of showers Sunday night and Monday morning.

"If anything it will be a warm and sunny week for this time of year.”
