Anzac flag-burner granted bail

A 67-year-old man who allegedly burnt an Australian flag at the Shrine of Remembrance in Brisbane has been granted bail.

Peter Di Iorio appeared in Brisbane Magistrate's Court on Saturday morning and is due to reappear on May 27.

The conditions of his bail include not being allowed within 100 metres of any Anzac Day ceremony and he must be escorted back to his car to return to the Gold Coast.
