AS a host of new women are locked up in the Bachelor mansion former contestant Lana Jeavons-Fellows has told how she turned to partying after her time on the show.

While 13 ladies are vying for Matty J's affection on the current series, Jeavons-Fellows said despite the show propelling her to national fame, there was a time post filming where she was struggling.

"After the show I was going out a lot, drinking a lot with girlfriends and that can get you into a negative headspace," Jeavons-Fellow said.

"I wasn't a big drinker, but on the show you drink champagnes."

Friends like model and TV presenter Laura Dundovic helped the brunette get back on her feet.

"It took me a while to get back to normal, It took me a good year to get back to feeling good," she said.

Life is now great for Jeavons-Fellows, having recently purchased a property in Queensland and going strong with her boyfriend entrepreneur Jake Meah

"Life is lovely at the moment," she said.

"This year I plan to travel, I turn 29 this year so I want to do a lot before I turn 30," she said.
