BAG A BARGAIN: Find your next favourite book at Bookfest

"THERE are boxes everywhere.”

There was an element of overwhelm in her voice as Bookfest volunteer Barbara King uttered those words.

Both Barbara and Bev Garrad are hard-working volunteers at this year's week-long book sale.

The popular Bookfest started last Saturday and will run until Saturday, October 5.

Even though there are only a couple of days to go, don't fret.

According to Bev and Barabara, there are still plenty of great book titles on offer.

"There are thousands of books here,” Barbara said.

"You couldn't count them all.”

Head along to the sale and check out quality novels, non-fiction, recipe, craft, travel, sports books and magazines.

There is even a table for the kids.

All the proceeds from Murgon's Annual Bookfest go to Red Cross and the Murgon's Mens Shed.

Murgon Bookfest is at 118 Lamb St in Murgon and is open from 9am to 4pm on weekdays, and until noon on Saturday.
