Barron Trump almost unrecognisable

THE youngest son of US President Donald Trump is growing up fast.

New pictures of the 13-year-old, Barron Trump, heading to his family's Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida shows the teenager towering over his parents.

Barron is rarely photographed in public with reports that his mum, Melania Trump, wants to keep him out of the spotlight.

The teenager appears to have had a massive growth spurt of late, appearing taller in pictures than Mr Trump, who is 6 foot 3 (190 cms) and Mrs Trump, who is 5 foot 11 (180 cms).

All of Mr Trump's children are relatively tall.

Eric Trump is the tallest at 6 foot 4 (193 cms), Donald Trump Jr is 6 foot 1 (185 cms), and Ivanka Trump is 5 foot 11 (180 cms). Tiffany Trump is the shortest at 5 foot 8 (172 cms).

The Trumps were joined by Mrs Trump's parents, Viktor and Amalija Knavs, who flew to Mar-a-Lago with them.

Mr Trump flew to Mar-a-Lago after the annual pardoning of the thanksgiving turkey.

Mr Trump said he was sparing both turkeys, named Bread and Butter, from being served up on a thanksgiving table.

They will get to spend the rest of their lives on a farm at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia.

Mr Trump couldn't resist an impeachment joke saying both turkeys had been raised to "remain calm under any condition," a trait that he said will be "very important because they've already received subpoenas to appear in Adam Schiff's basement on Thursday."

"It seems the Democrats are accusing me of being too soft on turkey," he said.
