Beach Boys to rock Oz
THE newly reformed Beach Boys will tour Australia in August to celebrate their golden anniversary.
The classic rock group's 50th anniversary world tour will play the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on August 28 and continue to Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide before finishing in Perth on September 6.
The world tour, which started in the US state of Arizona in April, coincides with the release of the band's new album That's Why God Made the Radio.
It's the first new original material by the Beach Boys in 20 years, since 1992's Summer in Paradise.
But the Australian shows are sure to include plenty of hits, with the set list reportedly including Surfin' USA, I Get Around and Good Vibrations.
Tickets go on sale at 9am Wednesday June 13 through Ticketek.
