Big plans for Palace Hotel restaurant

BETWEEN managing the Palace Hotel and Ringsfield House, Beau Smith and Nathan Hendy have a lot on their plates.

However, life is about to get even busier for the pair, who are set to take over management of the Palace Hotel's restaurant.

They plan to renovate the venue and offer hearty traditional pub-style food like steak and parmigiana.

Mr Hendy said they were also restoring the grand ballroom to rent out for private functions.

"There is nothing quite like it in Nanango," said Mr Hendy.

"We are excited to bring business back to the town and give the community something they can really appreciate."

For the opening night, they plan to host a private function to showcase the refurbished building and give people a chance to taste items off their new menu.

Once they take over the restaurant, breakfast, lunch and dinner will be available in the well-loved pub located in the centre of Nanango.

Opening dates are to follow.
