NEW Zealand fans of Masterchef have just discovered how wonderful our Billie McKay is, having finally seen the 2015 series and finale tonight.
Fans started posting on her Facebooke page shortly after seeing Billie win.
"Finally saw the final here in NZ as we were majorly behind in the season!! Well done, it was an intense house hold watching you two cook off!! But we were#TeamBillie all the way!! Congratulations," wrote Jayson Topia.
"Huge congratulations from us both from NZ where we have just finished watching the final!! You were our favourite to win from the start and it brought tears of joy to see you accomplish what you so rightly deserve. You are an amazing girl!" posted Su and Ken.
Billie's latest post on her Facebook page was in line with her work and ability to make a great meal.
LIFE hasn't slowed down for former Ballina restaurant manager Billie McKay since she won the MasterChef 2015 title.
Following a flurry of media appearances after her win, the 24-year-old inked a deal to write for food magazine Delicious and has started working at legendary chef, Heston Blumenthal's London Restaurant, the Fat Duck.
Working in London
The Bowraville raised woman's father, David, said his daughter was enjoying working for one of the world's most famous chefs.
"She's enjoying working at the Fat Duck and she has been working long hours," he said.
"I think she's going pretty good there, but I don't know if she sees Heston that much," Billie's mother Alison said.
"I think she has caught up with him a couple of times."
Mrs McKay said Billie was responsible for one of the dishes on the Fat Duck menu, which she made every day.
Departure announced on Facebook
The day before Billie and her boyfriend Haydn Suridge flew out from Australia, she announced their departure on Facebook.
"Final drinks before we head off for the UK," she posted on her Facebook page.
"The future is looking exciting and cold."
The couple spent the first couple of weeks getting their bearings around the village of Bray, where they are living.
With limited luggage capacity, Billie regretted not being able to take her acoustic guitar with her.
But she was soon playing her favourite chords.
"I had to leave mine at home," Billie posted on Facebook on October 25.
"So Haydn the good man got one for me."
Sago pudding with ginger and pineapple
The first recipe Billie wrote for Delicious - a sago pudding with ginger and pineapple - came out in the October edition, just before she moved to England.
In the November edition of delicious, Billie's ice cream sandwich with matcha powder and white chocolate looks to be a summer hit.
