Bizarre drug hiding spot found by police

THIS man tried to hide his weed in novel way, but the police weren't fooled.

Timothy John Naylor, 30, pleaded guilty in Rockhampton Magistrates Court after a police warrant uncovered his sneaky stash.

The court heard in August this year, a search of Naylor's Berserker home revealed a shaving cream canister with a false bottom.

Inside there was a clip sealed bag containing a quarter of cannabis.

Police also found a chop bowl, a grinder and a bong made from an Ice Break bottle.

Naylor told police he'd intended to smoke some cannabis before they got there.

The defendant was previously on a 12 month probation for an offence in 2014, received fines for drug offences in 2013 and 2011 and has other drug history.

He was given a probation order of two years with convictions recorded.
