Blackbutt man granted bail after wounding neighbour
A BLACKBUTT man has been granted bail after being charged with wounding another man who entered his Crofton St property.
Jason Yarrow, 30 had been charged with wounding Damien Turner who lives approximately 30 metres away in the same street.
In Kingaroy Magistrates Court today, defence lawyer, Mr Werner said his client only retaliated once Mr Turner approached Mr Yarrow and jumped the fence into his property.
"My client wasn't the aggressor, he just wants to be left alone,” he said.
"This was all a big misunderstanding.
"When the complainant realises he's got the wrong guy, there may not be a reason to go on with it.”
Mr Yarrow was granted bail.
The matter has been adjourned until January 21, 2019.
