Book list experts ready to help for back to school

THE countdown for school has started and a Kingaroy business is ready to help families prepare for the term.

The Lucky Charm Newsagents is a one-stop shop for school supplies for all of the South Burnett schools.

Team member Keeley Walker said they had supplies for items on the lists from each of the schools in Kingaroy, Murgon, Nanango, Wondai and Coolabunia.

"We have everything in stock from colouring-in pencils, highlighters, glue, every single book that you could need, pencil cases and tissues,” she said.

There is also a variety of unique book covers and name tag stickers for families to choose from in store.

The staff will be ready to help parents decipher the school lists and find the right items for the students.

"We're more than happy to explain and even do the book lists here, we're more than happy to get it with them if they want more of something or less of something,” Miss Walker said.

The Lucky Charm offers a booklist service at no extra charge, where staff pick the items needed for the school lists.

"We have heaps of booklists come in from multiple different families,” she said.

Team member Caitlyn Burton said on most days the booklists could be picked the same day.

"Drop it off in the morning and we can get it ready for the afternoon,” she said.

Miss Burton encouraged families to support the Kingaroy family business, which had been providing stationery supplies for the past 15 years.

Any products on the school lists the store did not have in stock could easily be ordered in.

The store is also offering 10 per cent of school lists for any Lucky Charm members.

Parents are welcome to sign up for the free membership in store.
