BOOK: White Ninja
AUTHOR:  Tiffiny Hall
PUBLISHER: HarperCollins Publishers Aust
RRP: $14.99

ROXY Ran wishes she was popular and beautiful like her big sister Electra and that the school bully Heroshi would stop tormenting her.

Her mother is a part-time ninja - but Roxy doesn't realise her own talents until her hands flash invisible and she can suddenly jump onto buildings and fight.

Soon she learns that the Samurai, including the school bully Heroshi, are her mortal enemies.

She also learns of the ancient legend of the White Warrior who must be awakened - but first she must fight four ancient ninjas in the Cemetery of Warriors and defeat Heroshi.

I really loved this book. It's perfect for anyone interested in martial arts.

I also found it empowering and inspiring, a must-read for children who are dealing with their own issues at school.

It is a wonderful debut for The Biggest Loser trainer and fifth dan Taekwondo black belt and athlete Tiffiny Hall.

While we may know the author from TV shows like The Biggest Loser, she's shown with White Ninja that she can deliver a fantastic fiction novel that will be the start of a fun trilogy, the Roxy Ran series, for young readers.
