Boy injured after tree fall near Durong
A BOY who fell from a tree near Durong has been flown to hospital.
A Toowoomba CareFlight crew were tasked to pick up the boy who had fallen and injured himself.
According to reports the boy fell five metres as he climbed a tree on a private property.
He was treated by QAS paramedics before a CareFlight crew took the boy to Lady Cilento Children's Hospital in Brisbane just after 10am this morning.
He suffered suspected spinal injuries from the fall and was flown in a stable condition.
