$18M for Cherbourg's biggest budget in years

INFRASTRUCTURE is the main focus of Cherbourg's $18 million budget, announced today.

Cherbourg Aboriginal Shire Council chief executive officer Warren Collins, said this was the region's biggest budget in eight years.

From the $18 million to be spent in the region, the main focus will be on housing and infrastructure.

A total of 10 new houses will be built, along with upgrades to existing homes.
