FIRE WARNING: Crews monitor South Burnett bushfires
LATEST, Monday, 10am: QFES crews are still monitoring a bushfire in the South Burnett.
The blaze near Wittman Rd, Booie is currently posing no threat to properties at this point in time.
However, nearby residents may be affected by smoke and are urged to keep all doors and windows closed, and keep medication close by.
Motorists are urged to drive with caution and to conditions.
If anyone is concerned their property is under threat, they are advised to all 000 immediately.
Meanwhile, QFES crews are still monitoring the Mount Stanley bushfire along Lords Trk with help from Queensland Parks and Wildlife crews.
Residents are urged to stay informed of the latest on this fire and to decide what actions they will take if the situation changes.
Anyone who has left the area should not return until advised it is safe to do so.
EARLIER, Sunday: Queensland Fire and Emergency Services are currently responding to a fire in the South Burnett.
A spokesman from QFES said they were called at 5:50pm to a bushfire burning near Witmman Rd, Booie.
Crews are currently working to extinguish the fire located near Kingaroy.
At this stage there is no threat to properties in the surrounding area.
Nearby residents may be affected by smoke and are asked to close windows and doors and if suffering from a respiratory condition, keep their medications close by.
Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions.
