Driver airlifted from Nanango car crash

UPDATE 3.58PM: A QAS spokeswoman said a rescue helicopter had been requested to airlift the patient from the crash on the corner of the D'Aguilar Highway and Bushnells Rd. 

The patient, who was in a single vehicle crash, has sustained head and chest injuries.

They are in a stable condition.

EARLIER 3.18PM: EMERGENCY service crews are on the scene of a car crash in Nanango.

At approximately 3.18pm a traffic crash occurred on the corner of the D'Aguilar Highway and Bushnells Rd in Nanango.

A QAS spokeswoman said crews were assessing a male patient in the single vehicle incident.

The patient was conscious and breathing.

A Queensland Fire Service spokeswoman said three crews attended the crash.

Drivers are urged to take care in the area.
