BREAKING: Two crew vehicles raced to Kingaroy property fire

BREAKING: Emergency services were called at 9.05am to attend a fire at private residence in Kingaroy.

A spokesman from Queensland Fire and Emergency Services said the fire broke out on the back deck of the timber dwelling on Fitzroy St and Fisher St.

One fire truck attended the scene at 9.10am and another was on route but the fire was able to be contained before the second arrived.

The firefighters wore breathing masks as they put out the fire as a precautionary method to prevent inhalation from the smoke.

A spokeswoman from Queensland Ambulance Services said an ambulance and police vehicle both attended the property but there were no patients.

Fire and Emergency Services are now making the area safe.
