Bridge to be closed for five months

A SOUTH Burnett bridge will be closed for five months so it can be upgraded.

South Burnett Regional Council has announced its staff would be replacing the culvert at the bridge on Ironpot Rd, Ironpot until May 2020.

This completion date may change, depending on weather conditions.

Access will be available to residents via a sidetrack.

Motorists are requested to travel with extreme care, drive to the prevailing road conditions and to follow the temporary signage while work takes place.

Council staff apologise for any inconvenience caused by the bridge closure.
