BUNDABERG businesses are being invited to revitalise their ventures by attending the Bundaberg Business Expo.
Bundaberg Enterprise Centre manager Peter Peterson said the breakfast to launch the expo tomorrow had already sold out.
Mr Peterson said there would be four main speakers
Queensland rugby league legend Shane Webcke, who is also Workplace Health and Safety Queensland's safety ambassador is down to speak.
"Shane is passionate about workplace health and safety," Mr Peterson said.
Toni Fitzgerald, who has been recognised by the American National Academy of Best Selling Authors, will speak on engaging with employees to motivate them and foster initiative.
Implementing and benefiting from innovation will be the focus of the talk by Dr Irena Yashin-Shaw.
Bob Ansett, who founded Budget Rent a Car, is the author of three books focused on the customer.
Mr Peterson said Ryan Williams from NBNCo would give a talk.
"With the NBN not far away this is crucial information," he said
"It's important people understand there's a planning process for the transition.
"They need to understand how to transition across to the NBN."
Mr Peterson said there would be more than 40 exhibitors, covering a wide range of fields, at the expo.
He said the expo was mainly aimed at small businesses in the region because the vast majority of businesses in the region were small businesses.
"We want people to be grabbing hold of new issues and enthusiasm and putting them into their business.
"It's about getting enthused about their business and engaging with their customers"
The expo starts at 9am tomorrow and on Friday and there will be a function from 5pm-7pm tomorrow in the Civic Centre.
Entry was free but organisers are asking people to register at www.bundabergbusinessexpo.com.au.
