Candidates face the voters in Nanango tonight

IT WILL be democracy in action tonight in Nanango as mayoral and council candidates are asked the burning questions from the voters of the South Burnett.

All five mayoral candidates and council candidates for Division 1 and Division 2 have been invited to tonight's election forum.

Organiser Gloria Kirkness from the Nanango Tourism and Development Association has been busy collating questions that have been submitted by South Burnett Times readers.

All candidates will be asked a range of relevant questions that are of importance to South Burnett residents.

The forum is free and open to all residents who want to find out more about their local candidates.

It will be held at Tara's Hall in Nanango, next to the Nanango RSL at 24-26 Henry St tonight at 6pm.
