AN INJURY-time goal from Harry Kane has sealed England's spot at next year's World Cup in Russia.
Kane's winner (pictured) came at the end of a mainly lacklustre showing from the home team at Wembley but the captain said he would take the 1-0 win over a stubborn Slovenia.
"We have qualified, and that's all that matters," he said. "We had to be patient and in the last 10 minutes they were getting tired.
"It's no easy feat these days (to reach a World Cup).
"We're all delighted. We have another game on Sunday and we need to keep doing what we're doing and working hard."
The England skipper pounced from close range to convert Kyle Walker's cross in the 94th minute after a night of frustration for Gareth Southgate's misfiring team in a half-full stadium.
England qualified with a game to spare and will be joined in next year's finals by holder Germany, beat Northern Ireland 3-1 in Belfast.
