Fire crews called to fire on Coast hinterland road

The fire, initially reported to be a car fire, had one Queensland Fire and Emergency Service crew and two rural fire crews rushing to the Glass House Mountains, on the Glass House Woodford Rd near the intersection of Meyricks Rd.

Firefighters couldn't find any sign of a car fire at the scene, but did spot several logs that had been on fire and were still smouldering.

Rural firefighters doused the logs before the crews left the scene.
