Car crashes into house leaving one person in hospital

THE Forensic Crash Unit is investigating after a vehicle crashed into a house in Burleigh Heads early this morning.

Initial investigations suggest around 2:15am the car crashed into a house on West Burleigh Road, causing damage to the dwelling before coming to rest on its roof in the rear yard of the property.

The 29-year-old male driver of the vehicle was transported to Robina Hospital with minor injuries.

No people inside the dwelling were hurt.

Investigations are continuing.
