AN OLD man crashed through the shopfront of Nanango Foodworks early yesterday morning.

The 91-year-old elderly Nanango man accidentally put his foot on his car's accelerator instead of the brake.

The man's car launched through the shopfront leaving the man, Foodworks employees and customers startled.

Store manager for Foodworks Supermarket Nanango Marnie Ringe said it was fortunate no one was injured.

"We're very lucky no one was hurt and there weren't any ladies selling raffle tickets who usually sit there," she said.
