Passengers flee bus as road rage boils over in car park

A TOOWOOMBA woman has been fined and a bus driver is being investigated after a heated road rage incident in a shopping centre car park.

Toowoomba police officer Acting Sergeant Luke Roach has called on witnesses to yesterday's incident to come forward as part of the investigation.

Act. Sgt Roach said the woman, who was driving a black Toyota Corolla, got onto the Route 5 bus in the carpark on the northern side of Toowoomba Plaza about 3.30pm yesterday.

He said passengers fled the bus as the woman and the bus driver became involved in a heated argument.

The woman was issued an infringement notice for public nuisance.
