CHARGED: South Burnett residents set to face court

SOUTH Burnett residents have a date with the magistrate next month and into 2020 with roadside tests and search warrants conducted by police resulting in a variety of alleged offences.

A 45-year-old Wooroolin woman will face Kingaroy Magistrates Court on January 6 charged with drug driving.

The driver returned a positive reading to roadside drug test on Youngman St at 3.30pm on November 23.

A 31-year-old Kingaroy man who was driving on Alford St with no headlights on at 1.25am on November 24 will face court charged with drink driving.

The man returned a positive test of 0.052 blood alcohol concentration and will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on December 16.

A 20-year-old Kingaroy man will face Kingaroy Magistrates Court on January 14 after he returned a positive drug driving test on Youngman St at 9.30am on November 26.

A 43 year-old man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court after police executed a search warrant on Kingaroy Barkers Creek Rd.

Police found a quantity of marijuana and a switch blade at the property at 10am on November 27.

The man will appear in court charged with unlawful possession of a Category M weapon and possession of dangerous drugs.

Two Memerambi residents will face Kingaroy Magistrates Court on January 6 after police found marijuana seeds, drug utensils and a wooden baton while executing a search warrant at a King St house.

A 24-year-old man will appear charged with possessing a restricted item, and a 24-year-old woman will appear charged with possessing dangerous drugs and drug utensils.

A 30-year-old man will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on January 14 after he returned a positive sample to a roadside drug test while driving on Perkins St at 10.50am on November 25.

A 33-year-old Murgon man will face court on January 14 after testing positive to a roadside drug test on Lamb St at noon on November 25.
