Cherbourg Hornets defeat Murgon Mustangs, 59-26, to become 2014 premiers in front of a home crowd.

The hornets came out strong and rushed to a 30-12 lead at the break.

But this was the grand final, and Murgon was not going to lie down and took it to the Hornets at the start of the second half.

Cherbourg kicked away again at the end of the second half to give its fans something to cheers about with a convincing win.
