Child faces 14 drug, alcohol and burglary charges

A 12-YEAR-OLD boy will face Kingaroy Children’s Court on 14 drug, alcohol and burglary charges.

The boy was arrested by the Kingaroy Divisional Response Team at a Kefford St house at 2pm on October 27 in relation to an alleged burglary and for breaching his bail conditions.

Investigations are continuing into the alleged burglary on Alford St.

It will be alleged he forced his way in through the back door with another child and rummaged through cupboards.

A water bottle was allegedly stolen.

The boy will be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act in Kingaroy Children’s Court.
