Cirque Du Soleil performer injured during show

A CIRQUE Du Soleil performer has been injured in a fall during a show in Brisbane.

Paramedics were called to the big top at Skygate, next to Brisbane Airport DFO, after a 35-year-old female acrobat fell during the Kooza show this afternoon.

She was treated for a sore back at the scene and briefly lost consciousness.

She has been taken to hospital in an unknown condition.

The show went on following the fall.
