Cops search for answers after string of robberies in one day

POLICE are on the hunt for multiple offenders after a local business and numerous properties were robbed in Murgon.

On Saturday, July 6, about 8.15am, an offender entered a business on Lamb St, Murgon, and removed multiple items from their packets.

Without making any attempt to pay for these items, the offender departed the store.

Later on the same day, between 1pm and 9.30pm, unknown offenders damaged a door to gain entry to a residence on Lamb St, Murgon.

Once inside, they removed various personal items before departing the residence.

That night, about 10.30pm, unknown offenders attended a property on Boat Mountain Rd, Murgon.

The offender gained entry through an unsecured window by removing a screen before being disturbed by a resident at the address.

Investigations are still continuing.
