Could this be Australia's greatest quiz show stuff-up?
WHEN there is a million dollars on the line, contestants on Millionaire Hot Seat can crumble as the pressure falls on their shoulders.
But does that really explain how a mother and daughter team flubbed their second question on national television?
West Australian mum-daughter team Christina and Tanya were booted from the hot seat on their second question -- the easiest part of the show.
The first question was to pick the word that meant the same thing as "pig-headed".
It was C) Stubborn.
Good work team.
But the second question was a real doozy... apparently.
Playing for $200, they were asked which of these was NOT a type of dinosaur.
a) Brachiosaurus
b) Stegosaurus
c) Tyrannosaurus
d) Thesaurus
The pair panicked, leaned towards D -- a book that lists synonyms and is not a long-extinct creature -- but couldn't make a decision before their time ran out.
