Crews rush to chimney fire in the Burnett

UPDATE, 3.50pm: FOUR QFES crews are now on scene at a chimney fire in South Nanango. 

A QFES spokeswoman said the fire was confined to the chimney flute of the Nanango Tarong Rd house. 

The first crew arrived on scene at 3.20pm and the fire was all out by 3.30pm. 

No one was trapped by the fire, but crews are liaising with the owner of the house. 

QPS and QAS crews are also on scene. 

EARLIER, 3.20pm: FOUR QFES crews are en route to a house roof fire in South Nanango.

A QFES spokeswoman said the fire was reported at 3.10pm on Tuesday.

Reports said the roof of the house on Nanango Tarong Rd was on fire.

No crews were on scene yet.
