Cricket all year to keep skills dialled in

WINTER will not freeze the cricket season as Rosie's Fun 4 All is set to host an indoor cricket season from tomorrow night.

Organiser Neil Rose has already had the Nanango Scorpions over for a test of the pitch, where they "gave their thumbs up" to the soft surface floors.

"Because it's on a soft floor you're not as likely to get injured," Rose said.

As well as padded floors, the balls used in games will be softer to encourage players of all skill levels to join in the six-a-side format of the game.

"I've had a fair bit of interest in the cricket from some of the past cricket players and current cricket players," Rose said.

With the building set up primarily as an indoor sports complex, it is the perfect place to keep your cricket skills in shape.

If you are interested in playing or registering a team, phone Neil Rose on 0417 796 314 or 4171 0362.
