CRICKET: Warwick will have five representatives for the Queensland Junior Cricket State Carnival which starts on Monday.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Liam Vickers joins fast bowlers Josh Hagenbach and Morgan Bourke in the under 13 years side heading to the Gold Coast.

Pat Gordon, also a wicketkeeper-batsman, flies the flag for the U15s on the Sunshine Coast, and U16 all-rounder Jacob Gross will represent in Mackay.

The selection of five players across the Darling Downs teams represents a strong future for the Warwick Cricket Association, as the youngsters rise through the grades.

The association said the boys performed well in lead-up games and their selection was recognition of the hard work they had put into the season, as well as improvements made to techniques.

The carnival starts on Monday, with games played until Friday.

CONDAMINE CUP CRICKET

With not long left until the Christmas breaks, teams are out to claim vital points on the ladder.

Draw:

Wheatvale v Allora, at Slade Park;

Maryvale v Inglewood, Mayhew Oval;

Colts v Soveriegn, Queens Park (turf); and
