CRIME: Staff threatened, drink-driving and drug charges

Knife produced

A STAFF member of a Murgon business was allegedly threatened with a knife during a scuffle. Police are investigating after the attendant clashed with offenders who stole items from the shelves between 6.50pm and 7pm on July 4.

Drink-driving

A KINGAROY man will face court in Murgon on July 30 charged with drink driving. The 44-year-old was stopped by police at 7.30am while driving on the Bunya Highway at Wondai earlier this month.

Drug charges

A 20-YEAR-OLD Goomeri man will face court on drug-related charges after police executed a search warrant at an address on McLucas St, Murgon on July 3. Police found dangerous drugs and items used in connection with drugs.

Trailer stolen

INVESTIGATIONS are continuing after offenders stole a trailer after damaging a fence to gain entry into a business on Mickan St, Murgon. The incident occurred sometime between June 5 and July 9.

Murgon theft

UNKNOWN offenders allegedly attended an address on Nutt St, Murgon, and broke into a shed to steal various items between 5pm on June 28 and 8.20pm on June 30.

Investigations are continuing and a 13-year-old Murgon boy is being dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justices Act.

Offence at business

A 12-YEAR-OLD Cherbourg boy is being dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justices Act after he allegedly picked up an item at a Macalister St business and damaged it before leaving.

Police are investigating the offence that happened between 1.30pm and 2.05pm June 29.

Woman charged

A 44-YEAR-OLD Murgon woman will appear in the Murgon Magistrates Court on July 30, charged with fail to properly dispose of syringe and needle.

The woman was intercepted by police on Lamb St at 8pm on June 30 when they found multiple syringes.

Teen found with drugs

A 17-YEAR-OLD boy is being dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justices Act after police allegedly found him in possession of dangerous drugs.

The teen was intercepted by police on George St, Murgon, at 9.30pm on June 20 when they found him to be in possession of dangerous drugs.

Window smashed

INVESTIGATIONS are continuing after offenders allegedly smashed a window, entered a Smyth St residence and messed up the premises between 12am on April 2 and 8.30am on July 9.

Murgon duo to face court

TWO Murgon residents will face the magistrate on July 30 on drug-related charges.

The 26-year-old man and 23-year-old woman were charged after police executed a search warrant at a Cobb St address and found utensils used in connection to dangerous drugs.
